My Favourite
Here’s an easy icebreaker for you and your guests to play which requires no preparation
at all.
Chose any theme or subject and go round the group getting people to share their
favourite.
Some ideas for subjects are:
movies
restaurants
clothing
tv programme
holiday destination
song
In My Shoes
This party game is great for making introductions.
Instruct guests to remove their shoes and sit in a circle. Place the shoes (in pairs)
in the centre of the circle. One person begins by chosing a pair of shoes.
Based on the style, colour and appearance of the shoes they must make a statement
or guesses about the person
who wears them. e.g. This person likes to do a lot of
walking and lives somewhere rural.
It is then the turn of the owner of the shoes to claim them and introduce themselves,
perhaps shedding
some light on the accuracy of the statements and guesses made.
This person then selects a pair of shoes themselves
to guess about. The game ends
when all the shoes have been claimed, since everybody will have introduced themselves.
