Fun Indoor Games
Spot the Porky
This fun indoor game involves using
the imagination and telling a few little white lies (porkies). It can be
enjoyed by people of all ages.
The first player starts by saying three things about themselves. One of them
has to be untrue.
The rest of the group must decide, by guessing or voting, which statement is
the false one.
e.g.
-
I have a pet dog called Raffles.
-
My brother can do the splits.
- I went on holiday to Australia last year.
Balloon Grab
This energetic game requires two to
four teams and a lot of balloons. Each team has a corner of the room as their
base. The balloons are in the centre of the room. When the whistle blows or on
the count of 'ready, steady, go', teams race out from their corner, grab as
many balloons as they can and return them to base. The winning team is the one
that snatched the most balloons.
Ruler Riddle
This fun guessing game is probably best suited for
older children and teens. You will need a longish ruler and at least one
blindfold to play.
Whilst blindfolded, the participant must guess the identity of one of the other
people in the room. They have three guesses. If they guess correctly then they
swap places and the game continues.
If they fail to identify the person, they must move onto guess another person,
until they succeed.
Ruler Riddle Relay
This is a variation of Ruler Riddle and can be
played by dividing players into two teams. The first team whose players have
all had a turn with the blindfold is the winner.
Mystery Munch
This fun indoor game exercises the legs and the
taste buds!
Place a bag for each team at the end of the room filled with small amounts of
different foods. Ensure that these are wrapped in tin foil or paper so that
their identity is disguised.
It is a relay race whereby the beginning team members must run to the end of
the room, select a food item and eat it before running back to join the team
and tagging the next player.
The winning team is the team that empties their food bag first.
It is a good idea to check if any of your guests have food allergies
beforehand.
