Before the get-together ask guests
to bring with them favourite family recipies. These could be for dishes they
have created themselves or that have been passsed down generation to
generation. Ideally each recipe would come with information on and perhaps a
photo of the person. All the recipies can then be collated into a special
family recipe book. This Christmas party game for kids is a real seasonal
hit.
You will need four Christmas candy canes per team.
Divide your players into equal teams.
Have the starting players from each team hold
four candy canes between the fingers of one hand. The object of the game is to pass the candy canes down the line to different team members without dropping them.
The winning team is the first one to successfully transfer all four canes back to
the starting player.
This fun Christmas party game for kids is a Christmas version of Simon Says.
Elect a player to be ?Santa?. Santa instructs players by saying, ?Santa says??
Eg. Santa says touch your toes.
Players must follow Santa?s instructions as quickly as possible. The only exception
to this rule is when Santa doesn?t say ?Santa says?,? giving only the command instead.
The player(s) who follow instructions in this case must sit down until the game
is finished. This occurs when the last person standing becomes the winner.
