Birthday Party Games
Hat Swap
Divide your participants into two teams and have them form a circle. Place a hat
on the beginning player?s head. They must somehow pass the hat on to the next player?s
head without using their hands. This is to be repeated around the circle. The team
to pass the hat round all the players in the circle is the winner.
Snatch & Grab
This fun birthday party game is a variation of musical chairs, only instead
of chairs you will need a selection of toys. Place the toys in a large circle on
the floor. Make sure there is one less toy than players present.
Instruct the players to move around the circle in time to the music. Once the music
stops, players must grab a toy. The person without a toy in their hands must sit
down. Remove a toy from the game each time the music stops. The game continues until
just one person is left holding the toy.
Tumbling Towers
To play this fun birthday party game you will need lots of wooden building blocks.
It will appeal to players of all ages. Set a timer. The object of the game is to
see who can build the highest tower before the buzzer goes off. Younger players
will need more generous time allowances.
Search and Rescue
This fun birthday party game requires a supply of different keys and two padlocks
with matching keys.
Divide your players into two teams. Each team needs a set of keys and padlock. Blindfold
the ?rescuer?. This person must follow the instructions of the team mates and try
out different keys to fit the lock. The winning team is the first team to open the
padlock.
